Who are the Efecto Arena team?
We are a nonprofit organization committed to marine and coastal conservation, environmental education, and outreach.
Although we are a young organization, our work has focused on coral restoration in Bahía de La Paz and environmental education.
Through the coral gardening experience, we apply advanced propagation and restoration techniques and share this knowledge through an educational program that engages children, youth, and adults, fostering a deeper connection and responsibility for our marine ecosystems.
Our mission is environmental conservation and education, with the vision of being agents of change in society and a reference in the conservation of our seas and coasts. Our values are respect for the environment and its preservation through scientific knowledge, truth, and education.
Our target audience is society as a whole, with a particular focus on children and youth who will shape the future. Additionally, we work with a key sector of society—tourism service providers—whom we aim to transform into ambassadors for marine and coastal conservation.
